Friday!

Well...here it is Saturday and I'm just now blogging.  It's crazy (now that I am teaching all by myself) how little time there is for anything other than teaching during a class day! ;)

We had another busy day in 313.  Kind of a SAD one...

We are working on writing short simple narratives.  Informally, introducing organization and STAYING ON TOPIC!  This was our topic of the DAY!

 Everyone at this table is anxious to get to work. As I listened in at this table I was so impressed to hear them rereading what they had already written so as to make sure they were staying on topic.

SHARING... ALWAYS a favorite among some!

Savannah's show and tell day was a big hit! She brought in her doll "Bella"...There were a lot of connections made!

We gave Miss Moore her "official" Thirty-One TEACHER's BAG stuffed with teacher essentials! Notice the polka dotted bow...a subtle reminder of our classroom!

Of course no group photo session is complete without a silly one!

Well...we don't usually do this but since today was kind of sad we had a FEW minutes of free time in the classroom.  I think it put a smile on everyone's face!

 We ended the day with Book Buddies, Specials and a BIRTHDAY!

                                     

 

Ms. Guy had to pack up and head home to let Bacon out and then...it was off to 6 Flags/Fright Fest with the boys!
