| Just a plain ole CUTIE! Math Time Today we started discovering missing addends. We played "How many are Missing" to help us learn this concept. If we started with 7 and there are 4 under the cup...how many are missing? Well...THREE of course. I noticed my friends solving this type problem in a couple of ways. Some chose to count on. I have 4 and I have to get to 7 so...5,6,7! And the other way was to use the inverse: 7-4=3 SO...three are missing! Great thinkers! |
