Our NEW Dragon Of The Week!

This is not the best picture of our Trenton BUT it's the only one that will load correctly. I guess I need to learn not to take pictures with the camera vertical!  Trenton told us about his brother Blake (2nd Grade at Robertson), His love of baseball and His wonderful family! Looking forward to the rest of Trenton's week!

BSD?

Hmm...??? What is BSD? Well...Of course it's Bigger Smaller Difference!  This is the thinking pattern we use when we are comparing two numbers.  Nothing is being added and nothing is going in away in our problem so we must be comparing the two numbers!  We found there were lots of ways to check ourselves!

Some friends brought home guided reading "folders" today! (Not everyone...I will work on getting those sent out this week! Another new routine to work into our day!)  Inside the "pouch" you will find a blue folder. This folder has your child's guided reading log!  You will need to date it, write the title and initial that you heard your child read! Thanks!
