Some Of Our BEST Work

LOOK at the WORD CHOICE!
Once upon a time a frog met a princess!
The frog was really a prince. So he asked if the princess wanted to dance!  The princess was shocked but she said, "ok" anyway.  The frog was shocked too but he knew if he kissed the princess he would turn back into a prince.  So they kissed but instead of turning into a prince again the princess turned into a frog!  She yelled, screamed and even punched him in the face because she was so incredibly MAD!  I HATE you she screamed!  Her friend heard the scream and ran to her.  She saw her and immidiately started screaming too!  She got so mad that she punched the prince frog in the face!  I hate you they both yelled!  You are so anoying...we never want to see you again they both shouted!  The frog got his feelings hurt so bad that he ran away as fast as he could and started crying.  The prince yelled back, "I never want to see you again either!"  1 year later the princess went to a near by pond.  She saw a frog for the first time in a year!  The princess got so excited she jumped up and down.  It was the prince they talked for an hour or 2 and the frog proposed and they got married and lived happily ever after!

Miss Guy's Classroom
Miss Guy's clasroom has these rainbow lights.  She made plans to plant a terrarium.  It was cool. I wish I was in her class and I wish it was cool like last year but I don't know if I will get sent back to first grade in pod 1!

Well...we decided maybe we should all just stay in this room next year and be 2nd graders! :)  I love them ALL!!!

This has wonderful organiziation!
Once upon a time Princess Lora was sick.  King Bingo did not have any money so he couldn't get any medicine or take her to the hospital either.  Soon Kind Bingo got a job, making dog biscuits. Two weeks later King Bingo took Princess Lora to the hospital.  They lived happily ever after.

I had the most AWESOME day today!
Thank you to all the parents and siblings that were here working at stations or helping with our class! You guys ROCK and made the day go smoothly.  I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being able to have "fun" time with your children!!! These are the times we hope they will remember for ALWAYS...
I had the pleasure of participating in the 40yd dash relays (and YES that is PLURAL) but that was only after we pulled and tugged our way to SEVERAL WINS...(I am going to be one SORE teacher tomorrow)...but well worth the pain.
Please enjoy your weekend!  We have 3 weeks left...
IMPORTANT
If you have not done your background check (this year...it has to be done EVERY year) if you plan to go on the Field Trip to the HEARD MUSEUM on May 27th.  It has to be done ASAP!

Rain

Rain is water.  The water in a ocean evaporates and it rains.  It does that over and over again.  I love Rain.  Hey, I almost forgot that rain waters flowers and trees and plants.  That's cool.

Soil

Soil helps trees, flowers and plants grow.  Soil helps the earth.

We are having so much fun doing the Daily 5...Work stations are meaningful and quality work is being produced!  The students are becoming so INDEPENDENT!  What amazing 2nd graders they are going to be...
I am SO going to miss this bunch!
