Patterns Repeat and...

begin again...over and over and over again! We did lots and lots of making, looking for and identifying patterns today!

Everyone did an awesome job making and looking for patterns today!

OBSERVABLE PROPERTIES

We played a game with our fruit today.  Guess what is missing!  Without using anything but our sense of sight we had to guess which piece of fruit was missing from our circle!  Of course we found this to be an EASY GAME...but we had fun none the less...

We talked about what properties we could observe using our eyes...SURPRISE we made a connection to our math lesson. We could see size, shape, and definitely color.

Some of us also said that we could "observe" the differences by touching, smelling, and tasting! 

Tomorrow we will draw a diagram of a piece of fruit in our science journal and label as well as chart observable properties!  Wow...what scientists we have in room 313.
