AFTER lunch our schedule changes! WE have specials from 11:30-12:20 on Friday so THAT means we have to know who's class we go with! A little confusing this week and probably the next few weeks but we'll get it!!! Remember to ask your child which teacher he/she goes to specials with! After specials we continued to read about Freddy Thresher's Homework Hassles.
During math time we continued to talk about our birthday graph. We made some observations based on the graph we made Thursday! However, today while I was labeling cupcakes...I found a few cupcakes had been placed in the wrong place! OOOPS So...I'm posting the "new" graph. We will revisit on Monday! I noticed some interesting facts about birthdays in our classroom while labeling!BOOK BUDDIES is a highlight of our Friday afternoons! Mrs. Cizdziel and her class showed up and we were very excited to meet our buddies. Some of us were lucky enough to have the same buddy as last year! We then had some time to have Friday Fun!!!

We are settling in after a great 1st week! Next week we will begin going to the library on Wednesdays. Students will be allowed to bring books home. Please help your first grader keep library books in a safe place! He/She will need to return it the following Wednesday in order to check out a new one.
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I am looking forward to seeing my little dragons on Monday!
