I'm going with...I feel like I'm 100 years old today...after a relaxing day on the couch yesterday...LOL We started the day with a 30 minute warm up period and then it was time for recess...instead of the usual inside recess we had a little 100th day fun. I set the timer for 1:40 and we did a 100 seconds of marching, then 100 seconds of hopping and then a 100 seconds of stretching...We had lots of fun! Then we got with a friend from Ms. Boor's class and played 100 Tallies Dice Game!

| Gracie, Connor, Ryann and Makenna workin it out for 100 seconds! |

Off to lunch we went! Sidney, our Dragon of the Week, was surprised by her parents today!
 |
| Thanks Jones' family for making it a special day! |
After lunch, we came back did some skip counting to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's and 10's. We did so well...we needed a little hands on representation...Now...because most made fruit loop necklaces in Kindergarten I needed to challenge them a bit! SOOO each table group was given one of the ways to skip count and they had to represent that way of counting on their fruit loop necklace...The group counting by 5's was the group that finished first, with 10's coming in a close second, 2's was 3rd and 1's seemed to take the longest. HMMM I wonder why? Discuss with your child their thoughts!

The fun did not stop there! It was time for a little "derdnuh"...you will have to ask your child about that one. We will be writing our recipe tomorrow!
And that pretty much brings us to the end of our day! WHEW...busy busy...and can I just tell you tomorrow is going to be just as busy! OH wait...we did have a few "old folks" visit our room today! They sure were good sports participating like they were 7!
I almost forgot...not because she is easy to forget but because she jumped right into our craziness and is already one of US!
We have a new student. Her name is Jatori and we are so looking forward to learning more about her!
