TOP DOG
Today Taylor's lovely family came and had a YUMMY lunch with her!
Yesterday, Taylor's parents shared the following and Taylor illustrated for us!
My Sweet Taylor
You brighten our day with your beautiful smile and funny laugh.
Your sweet spirit melts our hearts.
Having you around has made our family complete.
We are so proud of how SMART and TALENTED you have become.
As you continue to grow mom and dad want you to know...
We love you and you ALWAYS will be our
Sweet Taylor!
Language Arts
We are working on expanding our sentences.
The boy jumped.
The boy jumped high.
The boy jumped high into the clouds.
The wild boy jumped high into the clouds with bouncy shoes on his feet.
I will be looking for some AMAZING sentences to share with everyone!
Math
We play a guess my temperature game during math time! Well, this week I thought it would be fun to turn it into more of a 20 questions kind of game. And it was amazing to see them apply what they KNOW!!! I love this job...Today I told them the number was BETWEEN 50 and 90. They immediately said, "it can't be 50 or 90 then." So I turned those numbers over. The first question was is it even or odd. I started turning over 51, 53, and heard, "IT'S EVEN!". The next question was does it have 7 tens...(WOW, I was so impressed) I turned over 82 and 62 and everyone shouted, "It's in the 70s." So, we only had 70, 72, 74, 76, and 78 left...the question asked was, "Does it have MORE than 4 ONES?" (IMPRESSIVE) I turned over 74 and immediately they knew it DID have more than 4 ones...Honestly, I can't remember the last question that was asked...I was having so much fun listening to the learning going on! BUT we did get to the correct answer of 78!
It is just so much fun teaching this wonderful group of PUPPIES!
I'm looking forward to talking with you all on Monday about the wonderful successes your child has had so far.
We had hoped to have flash drives ready to go by conferences but...there are some SERIOUS set up processes with some of the drives you all sent in! SOOO....with that being said they will NOT be ready on Monday! :(
