Mixed UP Monday

Today we had to switch specials with our 4th grade buddies.  So...we went to specials right before lunch and had recess later in the afternoon!  CRAZY...

Library is first thing on Monday morning...please help your child remember his/her book!  Remember the safest place to keep it is in the BACKPACK! Then it will always be here on library day. Your child is also welcome to leave it here at school if that is easier.  He/she cannot check out new books until the previous week's have been returned! 

This week in Language Arts we will be talking about making connections with others and using our memories!  More on that tomorrow!

MONEY...we LOVE MONEY

Penny, Penny, easily spent,

Copper brown

Nickel, Nickel, thick and fat,

We can't be wrong!

This week your child will need to be able to identify each of these by name and value! We will be informally assessing this.  Please have your child do this for you at home and if they are struggling with it...repeat OFTEN!
