WOW...

This is one TIRED teacher...Just got out of a meeting! Today is short and sweet because since Ms. Moore is doing more and more (haha that sounds kind of funny) of the teaching I end up getting involved in the lesson and forget to take the pictures or videos!

READER'S WORKSHOP

Ms. Moore continued our lesson on the Constitution...It was lots of fun listening in!  I heard,
"awe man this is gonna take 4 months to write", "yea just like when Thomas Jefferson did it!"   There was some GOOD learning going on yesterday! Ours didn't take QUITE 4 months but we were getting a bit antsy by the end of it! BUT everyone enjoyed adding their JOHN HANCOCK to our document!

WRITER'S WORKSHOP

Our I can this weeks states: I can capitalize the beginning of a sentence and use punctuation at the end.  BUT what EXACTLY is a sentence.  Boy that concept is a bit abstract so we use Write From The Beginning to help us.  Our sentence subject is in GREEN and that is what is capitalized! In this case it is Snoopy.  Our linking words are in the blue and our details to finish our sentence are in the red.  Once we get to that red we need to put a period. And that is a complete thought!

Answers: can, be, go, for... We had lots of fun practicing our spelling today!
