Book Fair

We will be going to preview the book fair on Friday, October 8th. 

Your child may bring money on Tuesday, Oct. 12th to buy any or some of the books on his or her wish list! 

 Wednesday, Oct. 13th, is eat with someone "GRAND"
Your child will be allowed to go to the book fair with their visitor during recess (10:30) and then their visitor will eat lunch (11:00) with them!
So pick at time for your child to SHOP and ENJOY!

It seems like it's been a while since I last blogged!  We continue to stay busy in room 313.  Lots of great learning going on!  We started guided reading and I hear "when do I get to read? Is it my turn yet?"  I love that everyone is excited about reading!  Please make sure that you read with your child every night and send back their book and log folder inside their pouch! Some of the things we are practicing are retelling, fluency (reading like we talk), paying attention to punctuation (for fluency and expression) and main idea!

Yesterday, Trenton brought in his favorite book!  I think it was a favorite of many!

Our librarian, Mrs. Biamont, came into our classroom today to talk to us about the author that is coming to visit...Anastasia Suen! She is the author of 115 children's books!
